Today was spent reviewing a few textbooks and organizing notes.  Now, the technology ones tend to be outdated quickly , but I did place mark several pages for quick access.  More textbooks and my assignments on the horizon.  Part of building your confidence is performing maintenance on your knowledge base.   I like to think of one's knowledge in a discipline like a house.   It can be repaired, remodeled, added on to, torn down, redesigned.  It always requires a good foundation.

I've recently begun seeking out other library blogs to view.  Any suggestions?  After all, a library without a community is like [insert own analogy, the first that comes to mind.]

  1. There's a great library blog community happening on tumblr, if you're not familiar with it. It's mostly available by searching "tumblarians," but Kate Tkacik keeps a good list going. Just be careful poking through it - it's known to be NSFW occasionally. But there are some really good ones in there. http://thelifeguardlibrarian.tumblr.com/tumblarians

Spread the word about any good ones you find!
